Remote Doors

For elegance and classic simplicity, you can’t beat a tradional side hinged door. Timber-finish GRP products from Meridian, Select Garage Doors Ltd and Wessex Doors combine practicality and presence, giving your garage door real visual impact.

If your garage is in constant use and contains a lot of obstructions, a side-hinged door could be the solution you need for easy access. Side hinged doors are also available in Steel and timber.

The SupraMatic is suitable for all garage doors up to 5500 mm wide, including timber doors and garage doors with wicket door. Suitable for garages with up to 5 parking spaces.

HORMANN PROMATIC

An extremely quiet super-smooth operator, so a good choice if you have a room above your garage.  Excellent build quality, electronic diagnostics and good for single width retractable, sectional or side hinge doors in good working order. It has a soft-start / soft-stop feature and intelligent cut-out for your safety.

The Promatic is totally maintenance free and comes with brackets suitable for mounting to standard retractable doors as well as sectional doors.  Installation is very easy with the boom being pre-tensioned (no boom assembly required) and then mounted in place prior to the motor being fitted; this keeps the weight you have to lift to a minimum.

The one-piece toothed belt drive boom has a patent automatic latch for additional security and is available in different lengths to suit taller doors - see table below.

CARDALE AUTOGLIDE

Purposely designed for canopy style doors, this excellent opener mounts on the right-hand side of your garage door frame and does not need a bow arm converter.  It is a far better solution than a standard opener with Bow arm because it meets new European directives on auto-reverse pressure introduced in 2005 that the bow arm solution often fails to meet.

Security:  The Autoglide integrates with the door latching system and the remote control uses anti-scan rolling code technology with over a billion unique security code combinations to ensure your garage remains secure. 

Safety:  The 'Smart Entry System' learns the unique operating characteristics of your door  including exactly how much force is required at any one point.  This allows the Autoglide to react more quickly if the door touches an obstacle.

If you do not have rear access to your garage you will need a special Autoglide Emergency Release Kit.
